Workshop 6: Assumptions and Tests

No business plans survive the first meeting with the market. Reality is always different from what you expected – mainly because reality is full of people. And people are not rational and predictable, or at least they see the world from a different perspective than you.

In this workshop we look at our own beliefs and identify which of these are most critical to test and verify.

Agenda

  • The assumptions (hypotheses) behind your idea and business model…
  • Identifying critical hypotheses…
  • Planning tests of your critical hypotheses and learning from customers…

Outcome

  • You will be aware of what you know and what you are guessing about your business idea.
  • You will have a list of critical hypotheses to test and find a way to test test them.
  • You will be ready to meet your business partners or business people in general to get feedback.
